Verdantas is seeking a Staff Hydrogeologist I for our Dublin, Ohio, office.
What You'll Do:
* Conduct field investigations to collect environmental samples, oversee drilling operations, install groundwater monitoring wells, and collect groundwater-related data; oversee soil vapor investigations
* Analysis of basic hydrogeological data using various techniques
* Prepare detailed reports and maps to present findings and recommendations
* Monitor groundwater levels and quality, and assess the impact of human activities on groundwater resources
* Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals on multidisciplinary projects
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
* Provide technical support for groundwater remediation and water resource management projects
What You Bring:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field
* 0-3 years of experience
* Knowledge of groundwater and soil vapor principles and environmental regulations
* Ability to use field equipment and interpret basic hydrogeologic data
* A combination of office and outdoor work environment. When in an outdoor environment, the employee is subject to significant walking distances in uneven terrain, dirt, varying temperatures, weather conditions, wildlife, and noise
* Must be willing to travel a minimum 50 % of the time
* Must have a valid driver's license
** Salary Range:
** 55,000.
