Responsibilities
  • Create and update all training material for live facilitation, virtual live training, and e-learning
  • Primary point of contact for all administrative needs related to FST Logistics and Hyway Transportations’ intranet site and The Learning Management System known as One Compass University
  • Build and maintain partnerships with decision-makers in a variety of organizations
  • Design content to optimize learning and redesign content to ensure it matches learners’ needs
  • Ability to create visual, audio, and interactive learning tools
  • Design and develop instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, and supporting materials, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and organizational goals
  • Apply instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences, utilizing a variety of delivery methods such as e-learning modules, instructor led training, and blended learning approaches
  • Create multimedia content, such as presentations, videos, and simulations, to enhance the learning experience and cater to various learning styles
  • Ensure content is current, accurate, and relevant, updating materials as needed to reflect changes in processes or industry standards
  • Facilitate training sessions of diverse audiences, adapting delivery methods to meet the needs of participants and ensure a positive learning experience
  • Foster an inclusive and participatory learning environment, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants
  • Utilize learning management system (LMS) and other technology platforms to deliver and track training initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring the quality and consistency of instructional materials
  • Track and update status of projects in the Learning and Development Planner
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of training courses in the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is accessible, engaging, and aligned with adult learning best practices
  • Manage relationships with BMI and EmVision to ensure financial literacy training is properly deployed across OCH and their holding companies
  • You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms as defined by OCH
Qualifications and Skillsets

  • Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers
  • Strong working knowledge of Learning Management Systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of instructional design experience
  • Strong business acumen and time management skills
  • Strong ability to assess, create, and manage process design and documentation
  • Ability to rapidly learn new software applications and functionality
  • Experience with developing and delivering training programs
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite, including Microsoft Outlook, Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to travel at least 20%
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, technical, or another related field or equivalent experience in instructional design
  • Understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies
