Crystal Lake School District 47 currently has openings for Title 1 ELL/Bilingual Paraprofessionals. This position provides paraprofessional support services in a ELL/Bilingual classroom setting in various Title I general education classrooms and/or with Title I identified students. This position will require the paraprofessional to support academic, behavioral, language and/or physical needs. This position may include assisting/monitoring student(s) with toileting and other physical needs - this includes providing physical assistance to a student during the act of toileting while in the toileting location (see toileting definition below).

The Summer Program will run from June 1, 2026 through June 25, 2026 at Glacier Ridge. Time will be 7:30am - 12:15pm. Days are Monday-Thursday.

Hourly rate is $17.84 plus an additional $1.25/hr. for bilingual para. There is a $150 bonus if the candidate worked last year's Summer School (2025) in Crystal Lake District 47. Must work the entire summer program.

Due to a child's disability or medical condition, the paramust provide physical assistance to a student during the act of toileting while in the toileting location. (examples: removing all undergarments, wiping, physically assisting onto and off the toilet area) Walking a child to the bathroom or providing supervision while in the bathroom which does not require physical contact would not be defined as toileting.
