Responsibilities

Summary:

This Product Manager role is focused on the First Aid, Training, and Compliance product portfolio, serving as the downstream owner responsible for how these products are packaged, priced, launched, enabled, and scaled across channels. The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, and Supplier partners to translate product offerings into clear, market-ready solutions that drive revenue, margin, and customer adoption.

The ideal candidate is a strong cross-functional leader who thrives at the intersection of portfolio strategy, go-to-market execution, and supplier management. This role requires comfort owning initiatives end-to-end — from business planning and pricing strategy through sales enablement, training, and ongoing lifecycle optimization.

Organizational Impact:

This role plays a critical part in shaping how First Aid and Training solutions are delivered to market. By owning downstream execution, the Product Manager directly influences revenue growth, supplier performance, sales effectiveness, and customer outcomes across a rapidly evolving product portfolio. The work done in this role has a visible impact on how teams sell, support, and scale these offerings across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own downstream product management for assigned First Aid and Training product lines, including portfolio structure, pricing strategy, supplier alignment, and channel readiness
  • Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, and Operations to ensure accurate tracking of revenue, margins, COGS, inventory performance, and marketing investments
  • Develop and maintain portfolio business plans by channel, including pricing models, promotional strategies, vendor programs, and lifecycle management
  • Lead go-to-market execution, ensuring products are fully enabled across sales tools, training materials, collateral, and digital channels
  • Design and manage marketing and sales enablement programs, including online initiatives, sales force tools, vendor-funded programs, and trade show support
  • Analyze sales performance, customer segmentation, pricing effectiveness, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth, optimization, or expansion
  • Conduct market and customer research to uncover unmet needs, usage patterns, and opportunities for new bundles, services, or programs
  • Collaborate with manufacturer partners on joint marketing efforts, promotional campaigns, training initiatives, and portfolio alignment
  • Support and contribute to sales training, product education, and clinical or compliance-focused enablement as needed
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends, adjusting pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies accordingly
  • Manage forecasting, demand planning inputs, and profitability analysis for multiple product lines
  • Oversee the creation, refresh, and distribution of product collateral, sales tools, and training assets
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects as directed by Product Management leadership
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business priorities
Skills/Experience Required
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum of three to five years product/marketing management experience within a value-added distribution industry, business-to-business selling environment, or the health care products industry.
