- Monitor, review, and analyze center operations to provide support for distribution centers and Operational Leaders
- Make recommendations on integrating new customers, transitioning non-profitable customers, and optimizing existing customers to Senior Leaders
- Develop, streamline, and maintain efficient routing processes and procedures
- Analyze existing routes for opportunities to reduce miles and improve cost control
- Collaborate with Operational Leaders to determine optimal time frame for route adjustments
- Review current and potential backhaul opportunities to improve freight revenues
- Prepare reports on shifts in Order and Delivery Days by Concept
- Demonstrate proficiency in Network Routing Software
- Produce and evaluate Proforma analysis for potential business opportunities
- Plan and prepare meetings and presentations for Sales Leadership and Executive Staff
- Provide consultation to ensure compliance with DOT and other applicable regulations
- Verify and compare Routing Tool Mileage to ELD System Actual Mileage
- Assess and analyze center operational statistics, sales figures, and financial results
- College degree in Business Management, Finance, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years' experience in a Transportation Leadership Role at a Distribution Center or Corporate Analyst Role
- Experience in commercial vehicle routing and understanding of maps and the road network
- Experience with US DOT regulations and Network Routing Software preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong relationship building skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and mathematical skills
Sedentary work with occasional physical exertion
Mental/Visual DemandsAbility to read at a distance close to the eyes
Working ConditionsNormal office environment with occasional air travel
