Staff Accountant

We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily financial operations and ensure accurate, reliable reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity, supporting cross‑functional teams, and contributing to efficient month‑end and year‑end processes.

• Research and resolve transaction and posting errors; maintain accurate ledger data.
• Prepare and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts, including AR, AP, cash, fixed assets, and prepaid assets.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close; prepare financial reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve issues; assist with external audits.
• Produce financial reports and ad‑hoc analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Assist with budgeting, variance analysis, and documenting accounting procedures.
• Research proper accounting treatments and support various special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (industry experience a plus).

• Experience with integrated ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Great Plains or D365).
• Strong Excel and Word skills.
• Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
