We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. You will also have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Incentive Program
  • Quarterly incentive bonus program based on performance metrics.
  • PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan.

Work

Schedule

Monday‑Friday 8:30am‑5:00pm with a 30‑minute lunch break. Hours and location may change based on business needs or management approval.

This position does not require you to be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Assemble equipment such as tourniquets, needles, disposable containers, gauze, cotton, and alcohol.
  • Assist with a wide range of patient cases confidently.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Verify or record patient or donor identity and communicate with them.
  • Maintain refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
  • Handle urine analysis, blood testing, and perform routine blood drawing procedures.
  • Travel to additional sites when needed.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, or 3–5 years of prior phlebotomy experience in an oncology environment with difficult draws.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
