• You will instruct patients on proper specimen collection procedures.
• You will work efficiently and communicate effectively under stressful conditions and time constraints.
• You must maintain strict confidentiality of work‑related information.
• You will practice good infection control by hand washing, wearing personal protective equipment, for the protection of patient and self while maintaining a neat, well‑kept work area.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Phlebotomy certificate preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

One year hospital experience (including venipuncture experience) preferred.

Familiarity with a hospital laboratory is desired. Medical terminology preferred.
