Electrical Engineer – Federal Healthcare

Procon Consulting, a top-ranking construction management and technology consulting firm with 25 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on long‑term projects in the Dublin, GA area.

Location: Dublin, GA

Base pay range: $–$ per year

Job Summary

Responsibilities include electrical engineering on construction projects, design/build oversight, space management, and facilities management for complex construction projects. The role requires 6+ years of electrical engineering experience on construction projects.

Requirements
  • BA or BS degree in construction, architecture, or engineering.
  • Experience on projects larger than $1 million in value.
  • Experience on occupied building renovations, federal and/or commercial projects (preferred).
  • Fluent in project management principles and implementation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications, contract terms, CPM scheduling, and use project software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry project software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit, Prolog, etc.).
  • Experience coordinating with architects and engineers to create design and construction documents and review submittals, cost and schedule estimates.
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Interface with clients to define project requirements.
  • Review schedule, align project work plan and deadlines.
  • Monitor on‑site processes and procedures for compliance with drawings, security, and code requirements.
  • Coordinate and monitor completion of activities in all phases of the project cycle.
  • Manage risk, security, and safety compliance.
  • Assist the Contracting Officer and COR with acquisition planning, technical reviews, execution, and administration.
  • Collect requirements, prepare SOWs, conduct market research, and develop sole‑source justifications.
  • Provide project management support, ensuring compliance with directives and record‑keeping standards.
  • Deliver technical support daily to customers, manage electronic documents, and act as liaison among government agencies, clients, and contractors.
  • Understand and comply with local, state, and federal jurisdiction requirements.
  • Utilize software tools to monitor, update, and produce work products.
