Dublin Heritage Park and Museums

Share Your Experience and Learn New Skills

Dublin Heritage Park and Museums opened in 2011, and volunteers help provide tours to the public. The Kolb House is a 1910 Craftsman Bungalow built by one of Dublin s early founders. This historic house museum has original family furniture and belongings and tells the story of the Kolbs  journey from Bavaria and settlement in Dublin. As a docent, you will learn and enjoy meaningful time in a beautiful park setting while sharing Dublin s agricultural history.

Training materials and coaching will be provided to prepare you to give tours. You will develop new skills while making new friends and learning more about Dublin s history. Volunteers are asked to give three hours a week. With the variety of volunteer needs at Heritage Park and Museums, you may work with the public (children or adults) or behind the scenes.

Many opportunities are for one-time special events, while others require ongoing commitment. The volunteer program offers flexibility to match needs with your schedule, skills, and interests.
