Responsibilities- Lead a growth-oriented sales culture to achieve store business performance results.
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences through the Five Below service model that empowers your crew to say yes to customers.
- Anticipate customer needs and create an amazing store environment.
- Lead execution and maintenance of all company merchandising and operational standards, ensuring consistency with Brand Standards.
- Hire and engage talented employees, with the necessary skills, to be in the right role at the right time.
- Foster an inclusive culture where people feel cared for and connected.
- Provide training, coaching, and consistent feedback to your team to inspire accountability.
- Present facts clearly, coach effectively, and actively listen to build trust with direct reports.
- Partner with District Manager and Human Resources for coaching, performance documentation, and employee relations matters.
- Maintain a safe environment for customers and crew.
- Develop and execute a talent plan to attract and retain quality candidates and build succession plans.
- Support career growth through individual development planning and performance coaching.
- Develop a peer network to support recruitment and succession planning for the store.
- Analyze business results and use metrics to drive performance in sales, customer experience, profitability, shrink, payroll, and staffing.
- Balance competing priorities and manage payroll budgets and crew schedules to align financial responsibility with customer expectations.
- Ensure execution of financial controls, receiving and stocking procedures, inventory processes, and data integrity.
- Maintain store conditions, cleanliness, and adherence to SOPs; review corporate communications and prioritize plans accordingly.
- Achieve results without compromising quality or integrity and comply with company policies and applicable laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including services.
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Pay and benefits:
Starting pay for this position is $28.00 per hour; varies by factors including knowledge, skills, experience, education, and location. Benefits, bonus, and incentive payments may be provided as part of total compensation.
