About the Role

As an Early Preschool Substitute Teacher you are responsible for a classroom of children 2 - 3 years of age. You will provide a nurturing and safe environment working collaboratively with your partner Teacher to ensure the successful operation of a classroom. You will demonstrate good judgement in the care of each child assigned to you. You will verbally engage the children throughout the day in addition to incorporating activities.

What We Are Looking For

12 completed ECE semester units (or 18 quarter units), including coursework in:

• Child Growth and Development

• Child, Family, and Community

• Program/Curriculum

• OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development

Prior experience in a preschool setting preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Professional, dependable, and flexible

Passion for working with young children
