Middle School Math Teacher (On-Level Math & Pre-Algebra)

Brave Christian Schools is seeking a Christ-centered, relational, and academically strong Middle School Math Teacher to teach on-level Math and Pre-Algebra courses. This full-time position serves students in grades 6–8 and plays a key role in building foundational mathematical understanding, critical thinking skills, and high school readiness.

As a private Christian school, Brave Christian is committed to partnering with families to develop students academically, spiritually, and socially. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong instructional skill, classroom leadership, and a heart for discipleship.

• Teach on-level middle school Math and Pre-Algebra courses.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with grade-level standards.
• Build strong foundational skills in computation, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning.
• Prepare students for success in Algebra I and higher-level high school coursework.
• Differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student growth.
• Integrate real-world application and critical thinking into instruction.

• Establish a structured, respectful, and engaging classroom culture.
• Maintain consistent classroom management aligned with school expectations.
• Communicate clear academic expectations and provide timely feedback.
• Support students in developing strong study habits and executive functioning skills.

• Integrate biblical worldview into instruction where appropriate.
• Model Christ-centered character, integrity, and professionalism.
• Encourage spiritual growth and positive peer relationships.
