Brave Christian Schools is seeking a committed and dynamic High School Bible Teacher who will guide students in deepening their relationship with Jesus Christ through the study of Scripture. This teacher will model a biblical worldview, teach the foundational truths of the Christian faith, and challenge students to live out their beliefs with conviction, humility, and grace.
The ideal candidate demonstrates spiritual maturity, strong biblical knowledge, and a passion for discipling high school students during these formative years.
Key Responsibilities Instruction & Curriculum- Teach Bible courses such as Old Testament, New Testament, Theology, Apologetics, and Christian Worldview.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, biblically faithful lessons aligned with the school’s academic and spiritual goals.
- Lead thoughtful classroom discussions that promote critical thinking and personal application of Scripture.
- Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback on assignments, projects, and exams.
- Serve as a spiritual mentor and Christ-centered role model for students.
- Encourage spiritual growth, discipleship, and personal ownership of faith.
- Participate in chapel services, school retreats, and student discipleship opportunities.
- Partner with school leaders and campus ministry to support students’ faith journeys.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with parents regarding academic and spiritual development.
- Foster a classroom culture rooted in respect, accountability, and grace.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school community events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate a biblical worldview across disciplines.
- Uphold and model the mission and values of Brave Christian Schools in all teaching and interactions.
- A committed follower of Jesus Christ who affirms Brave Christian Schools’ Statement of Faith.
- Bachelor’s degree in Bible, Theology, Christian Education, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Scripture and sound Christian doctrine.
- A clear passion for working with high school students and guiding their spiritual and intellectual growth.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior teaching experience in a Christian school or church ministry setting.
- Teaching credential or graduate-level theological training.
- Experience integrating a biblical worldview into academic instruction.
- Demonstrates a vibrant, mature relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Actively involved in a local Bible-believing church.
- Committed to serving as a Christ-like example to students, colleagues, and the broader school community.
