Math Tutor

This is a part-time on-site role for a Math Tutor, based in Dublin, CA. The Math Tutor will be responsible for conducting engaging and interactive tutoring sessions, reviewing students’ progress, and preparing tailored lesson plans to meet individual learning needs. You will provide clear explanations of mathematical concepts, assist with homework, and help students prepare for tests and exams. Collaborating with parents and the Prepaze team to track student development is a key part of this role.

• Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and ability to teach Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Statistics.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students and parents.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to various learning styles and assess individual student needs.
• Experience with lesson planning, tutoring, or teaching in an academic setting is preferred.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Familiarity with technology, including online learning tools, is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field preferred.
