Assistant Manager – Inventory

Overview

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining stock levels, developing inventory tracking systems, managing inventory audits, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory management in WMS, preferably in SAP WMS (or eWMS)

• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, investigating and resolving discrepancies between physical, ERP and WMS inventory.
• Hands on with Cycle count, Put-away audits, empty bin audits, Wall to Wall Inventory and other WMS inventory processes etc.
• Hands on Experience in dealing with WMS storage locations, location types, bin creation, zone creation etc.
• Responsible for Bin Cube utilization and hands on with bin optimization metrics.
• Analyze inventory trends and provide actionable insights to minimize stock variances.
• Responsible for Order fill rates and pick productivity optimization.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed, especially for food products.
• Manage and execute the process to write off damaged and expired goods, near expiry inventory management, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Analyze customer order profile and constantly review slotting logic.
• Enable productivity improvement across inbound and outbound operations through efficient inventory flow through the warehouse.
• Works closely with IT teams and other cross functional operations leaders both internal and external to ensure high product availability of shelves for picking.
