We are looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to support our growing transport operations.
Role PurposeThe Transport Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily transport operations, planning routes using Transport Management Systems (TMS), optimising fleet utilisation, and ensuring on-time and cost-effective deliveries while maintaining service excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and optimise delivery routes using TMS and route optimisation software
- Supervise daily transport operations, including driver allocation and dispatch
- Monitor fleet utilisation, route efficiency, and delivery performance
- Ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) service levels of 98% and above
- Coordinate with warehouse, customer service, and operations teams
- Manage and control transport costs, fuel usage, and overtime
- Maintain transport reports, KPIs, and operational dashboards
- Supervise, train, and manage drivers and transport staff
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Manage outsourced transport vendors during peak periods
- Fleet utilisation
- Cost per delivery and cost per trip
- OTIF %
- Stops per route and stops per hour
- Route optimisation efficiency
- Reduction in transport costs
- NPS (Customer Satisfaction)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in transport or fleet supervision
- Mandatory experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and route optimisation software
- Experience managing drivers and fleet operations
- Experience in logistics, distribution, or cold chain environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE roads and transport operations
- Good leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- UAE Driving License preferred
Candidates from logistics and distribution companies such as cold chain, FMCG, retail, or 3PL are highly preferred.
