You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. • Maintain inventory to ensure that proper stock levels are managed to support build and repair activities.
• Physically receive and issue out parts as needed for internal customers.
• Load, unload, and transport parts between different sites.
• Keep accurate stock records for all items within our care through physical cycle counts.
• Maintain the safety, organization, and cleanliness of all work spaces using Amazon 7S principles.

• The role may require travel to other sites in the Melbourne metro area to assist in conducting cycle counts, receiving stock into the inventory control system, replenishing stock and returning defective stock.
• Travel between sites will require own transport; all travel related costs will be reimbursed.

• Loading and unloading shipments.
• Standing, sitting, and walking (including stairs) for prolonged periods of time.
• Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and kneel.
• Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance.
• Push or pull heavy objects of up to 16kg into position and participate in group lifts of 20kg or more.
• Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment.
• Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts.
• Work in an office and warehouse environment where the noise level is low to moderate.

Your day will be spent carrying out logistical support functions for our Data Centers, involving physical control and processing of spare parts transactions, consumables stock replenishment, and cycle counting of stock.

• 1+ years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administration experience.

• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administration.
