Key Responsibilities
Looking to hire an Operations Supervisor for our Road Transport Operations in Dubai. Candidates who have at least 3 years of similar experience to apply. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Manage and allocate resources efficiently to meet operational demands, including vehicles, drivers, and equipment.Liaise with Customers, clients and drivers to coordinate delivery schedules, resolve issues and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and maintenance, to optimize operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.Maintain accurate records and documentation related to bulk transport operations, including trip logs, incident reports and maintenance records.Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable, intervene regularly with the team and productivity and provide counseling and recognition to as needed.Evaluate and recommend changes in preferred work methods to increase productivity of driver and vehicle utilization. Train and mentor drivers on operational procedures and safety protocols.Assist in new associate training, provide relief coverage for operational duties when associates utilize time-off or are absent from the shift.Have a thorough working knowledge of the site's operating systems in order to ensure operational compliance and correct exception resolution, Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.Understand the relationship between decision-making and profitability.Ensure day-to-day management and associate activities are in alignment with the location safety strategy, provide associates with communication, training, feedback, and direction to ensure safe performance, Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and company policies and procedures.Good knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance, Journey related risks and HSE Procedures.Should have enough knowledge in HSE and Driver Training to handle DG Product and Behavioral Safety with regards to Road Transportation Risks.Daily Review current status of vehicles on Road (Loading / unloading /on the way to customer site.Daily review the current status of vehicles on Maintenance (Repairs, PM)#J-18808-Ljbffr
