- Coordinate and schedule deliveries and pickups to meet customer demands promptly.
- Monitor the use and maintenance schedules of the company vehicle fleet.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics routes to reduce transportation costs.
- Ensure all drivers adhere to company policies and safety standards at all times.
- Keep detailed records of vehicle use, maintenance, and repairs for future reference.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics strategies and operations.
- Monitor fuel consumption trends and implement cost‑saving initiatives when possible.
- Oversee and manage the logistics team to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare logistical reports and offer insights for operational improvements regularly.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulatory laws and requirements.
- Facilitate communication between drivers and management to address logistical challenges.
- Assess and negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics partners as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in fleet management or logistics coordination roles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential for this role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software and vehicle routing systems is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with drivers and stakeholders.
- Ability to solve complex logistical problems and optimize operational processes.
