Heavy Duty Driver

Transport the vehicles from Docks to the Pre delivery Centre and onto various Showrooms throughout the UAE whilst optimizing routes and ensuring that all Health and Safety standards are met to ensure safety of the driver, equipment and the goods being carried.

• Ensure that Recovery vehicle is maintained and cleaned daily and regularly serviced and maintained to manufacturers and Al Tayer’s requirements.
• Vehicle delivery – Collect vehicles from Docks, PDI Centre and deliver to various showrooms throughout the UAE.
• Follow the schedule given by the Fleet Coordinator.
• Follow the correct procedure and safety standards to ensure vehicles are loaded / unloaded safely and without damage to the vehicles being carried, the recovery unit or general public.
• Check the vehicles for any damage (scratches/dents etc.) and mark it in the collection/delivery document prior to loading and after unloading the vehicles and get the document signed by the customers.>
  
  Insure adherence to traffic rules and regulations and be alert at all the times while driving so as to avoid any accidents.
• Update knowledge of UAE roads and locations on an ongoing basis to be able to choose the best routes for delivery and collection.
