Shipping Planning & Execution:

• Develop and manage shipping schedules for FCL, LCL, Airfreight, and Courier shipments.
• Monitor order readiness, track shipments, and provide real‑time visibility to customers.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipping documents.
• Dispatch shipping documents to relevant international destinations.
• Maintain compliance with customs and government regulations, including VAT documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to secure competitive rates and timely deliveries.
• Source new suppliers/forwarders and obtain ad‑hoc quotations.
• Conduct RFQs for long‑term agreements with freight forwarders, couriers, and local transport providers.

Cost Analysis & Procurement:

• Perform data analysis and compare bids from 3PLs and courier companies; recommend awards.
• Issue purchase orders or contracts to selected suppliers.
• Validate 3PL and courier invoices and execute customer billing.

Performance & Reporting:

• Manage claims related to shipping processes.
• Report cost savings initiatives and ensure delivery of KPI targets.
• Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in logistics, with hands‑on expertise in managing inbound/outbound shipping documents and handling import/export customs clearances.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel is essential.
• Preferred Expertise: Background in vendor management, sourcing, shipping, procurement, and contracting.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of shipping terms, customs regulations, and compliance requirements across the Middle East, Europe, and China.
• Documentation & Approvals: Experience in managing Letters of Credit, shipping documentation, TRA approvals, and liaising with authorities such as Dubai Chamber and MOFA.

  Ability to effectively collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
