Logistics Coordinator – Middle East

Join dsm‑firmenich as a Middle East Logistics Coordinator in Dubai, UAE. You will manage smooth, timely, and accurate logistics operations across the AMET cluster and global plants in Switzerland and India.

• Manage shipments: schedule and execute shipments on time, monitoring progress and resolving delays proactively.
• Documentation & compliance: maintain accurate shipping documents and adhere to company policies, local regulations, and international trade requirements.
• Customer & business coordination: act as main logistics contact for Middle East customers, collaborating with CX teams to meet requirements and provide updates.
• Drive operational excellence: apply logistics best practices, track KPIs, and deliver insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across functions: align with logistics teams and global plants (Turkey, India, Switzerland) and Customer experience to ensure smooth integration and consistent standards.
• Vendor & risk management: manage carriers and logistics partners, monitor performance, and implement risk mitigation strategies for critical shipments.

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in road transportation, strong global logistics operations background.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, shipment scheduling, documentation & compliance.
• Excellent communication skills in English;
  French and Arabic are a plus.
• Independent work and management of regional complexity, aligning with Turkey operations and AMET cluster objectives.
• Business mindset with proactive problem solving, attention to detail, and focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
