Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Boat Captain to oversee vessel operations, ensure safety compliance, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. The Captain will be responsible for maintaining the vessel, performing all safety and operational checks, and assisting clients in driving the boat while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey.
Key Responsibilities Conduct mandatory safety briefings and manage passenger boarding procedures.Assist clients in navigating and driving the boat, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the trip.Execute and uphold all safety protocols and maritime regulations.Maintain all engines, generators, gearboxes, AC systems, and onboard equipment in optimal condition.Keep the engine room clean, organized, and fully operational.Complete all logbooks, checklists, and registration documents accurately and on time.Perform daily vessel inspections and report any technical or safety issues promptly.Monitor weather and sea conditions, coordinating with Operations for safe voyage planning.Ensure adequate fuel, water, and supplies are onboard before each trip.Verify proper operation of all navigation systems, lighting, and alarms.Maintain boat cleanliness (interior and exterior) and readiness for every trip or inspection.Conduct pre-departure safety checks and ensure all life‑saving equipment is available and compliant.Verify guest identification and required documentation before departure.Secure the vessel and perform engine flushing and maintenance at the end of each shift.Provide outstanding guest service and encourage positive feedback and reviews.Requirements
Valid Captain’s License and relevant maritime certifications.Proven experience operating and maintaining passenger vessels.Strong knowledge of maritime safety procedures and operational standards.Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.Ability to make sound decisions and remain calm under pressure.Salary: 3500 AED
