Mobile Network Rigger & Driver

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rigger cum Driver to join our Mobile Network Project team in the Telecommunications industry. As a Rigger cum Driver, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile network infrastructure. This is a hands-on position that requires physical strength, technical knowledge, and driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles and machinery to transport equipment and materials to work sites
• Rig and de-rig mobile network equipment, including antennas, towers, and cables
• Install and align antennas and other equipment according to project specifications and safety guidelines
• Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks on mobile network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions or connectivity issues
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and in potentially hazardous environments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Proven experience as a Rigger cum Driver in the Telecommunications industry
• In-depth knowledge of mobile network infrastructure and equipment
• Proficiency in rigging techniques and safety procedures
• Ability to operate various vehicles and machinery for transporting equipment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to work at heights
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work in different locations and adapt to changing project requirements
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems would be an advantage
