Logistics Coordinator for African contract workers in Jabal-Ali, UAE

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support our team of African contract workers in Jabal-Ali, UAE. As a logistics coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the movement of goods and people to ensure timely delivery and efficient operations.

• Coordinate shipments of goods and supplies to and from Jabal-Ali for our African contract workers.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is in order for customs clearance.
• Arrange transportation, including flights and ground transportation, for our workers.
• Monitor shipment schedules and communicate any delays or issues to relevant parties.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and transactions.
• Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Provide support with visa applications and other travel-related documents for our workers.
• Assist with onboarding processes for new contract workers.

• Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or similar role.
• Familiarity with import/export regulations, customs procedures, and freight forwarding.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with logistics software is preferred.
• Biometric passport is required for this position.
