Backend Engineer – Data & Strategy Systems

We are building a real-time financial data processing system that ingests live market data, processes trading strategies, and delivers actionable outputs to traders with minimal latency.

This role is focused on designing and building the
core backend infrastructure
— not just APIs, but scalable, low-latency, production-grade systems.

• Design and build real-time data ingestion pipelines
• Implement high-performance strategy processing services
• Develop Web Socket-based streaming systems for live outputs
• Optimize backend for low latency and high concurrency
• Architect distributed systems with scalability in mind
• Implement caching and queueing systems (Redis / Kafka / Rabbit
  
  MQ)
• Design secure authentication and rate limiting mechanisms
• Monitor system performance and debug bottlenecks
• Write clean, testable, production-ready code
• Collaborate directly with product and strategy teams

• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming
• Understanding of multithreading vs event loop models
• Experience with 3 of :
• Go
• Node.js (advanced)
• Java
• C++

• Understanding of distributed systems
• Knowledge of caching (Redis)
• Understanding of message queues

• Understanding of latency vs throughput
• Experience profiling CPU / memory
• Understanding race conditions & concurrency issues

• Experience with financial systems
• Knowledge of exchange APIs
• Experience with real-time trading platforms
• Basic understanding of blockchain/forex infrastructure
