About the roleWe are hiring a Golang Software Engineer at any seniority level to contribute to the Commercial Systems unit. The unit comprises six engineering teams that work closely with other engineering and business teams. Golang is central to the services we deliver.
Teams and focus areas
- Billing team – Designs, develops, and operates a Golang service that converts metrics into billable amounts, provides real‑time spend visibility, and ensures accurate, reliable, and timely billing integrated with payment systems.
- Contracts team – Builds a single source of truth for all customer contracts, providing standardized CPQ capability and securely storing signed contracts, with integration to CRM and accounting systems.
- Livepatch team – Develops a service that delivers Linux kernel patches between security windows, focusing on security, engineering quality, and reliability.
Location

Remotely based in the EMEA region.
- Develop engineering solutions leveraging Golang.
- Lead technical designs, code reviews, and implementation.
- Deploy and operate services developed by the team.
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback to colleagues.
- Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices.
- Exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
- Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about an alternative path.
- Track record of exceeding expectations to achieve outstanding results.
- Experience with software development in Golang.
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
- Result‑oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks long.
- Performance engineering and security experience.
- Experience with accounting, sales, sales operations, or other business roles.
- Distributed work environment with twice‑yearly in‑person team sprints.
