Associate Staff Engineer; Nodejs + AI Solution Design

Must have Skills

• Type Script, Microservices architecture (MSA) (Strong), Node JS, AI Application Solution Design (Capable), LLM Application Frameworks (Capable).

• Experience Minimum 8 years of coding experience in NodeJS, JavaScript & Type Script and No
  
  SQL Databases.
• Proven track record of implementing AI-powered features such as chatbot interfaces, language understanding, and summarization.
• Hands‑on experience and understanding of cloud and open source LLMs.
• Experience integrating AI frameworks (e.g., "Langchain", "Lang Graph") into existing or newly built applications to enable advanced language processing.
• Experience with AI Agents (design, orchestration, and integration into real‑world workflows).
• Good understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or willingness to quickly learn and apply it.
• Understanding of RAG concepts and experience using vector databases for retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Hands‑on experience with Open Shift or similar container platforms (Kubernetes) for orchestration and deployment.
• Architecting and automating the build process for production, utilizing task runners or scripts.
• Knowledge of banking or Retail domains is beneficial—hands‑on experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.

• Expertise in developing scalable, highly available RESTful APIs using NodeJS.
• Familiarity with common programming tools such as RESTful APIs, Type Script, version control software, remote deployment tools, CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming patterns, including Promises, async/await, and event‑driven architectures.
• Knowledge in designing, fine‑tuning, and engineering prompts for large language model (LLM)-based solutions, integrating them via APIs or SDKs.
• Familiarity with ORMs and ODMs like Sequelize, TypeORM, or Mongoose for database interaction.
• Knowledge in implementing real‑time communication using Web Sockets.
• Working knowledge of Azure AI services, including speech, language, OpenAI, PII detection.
• Well‑versed with CI/CD principles and actively involved in solving and troubleshooting issues in the distributed services ecosystem.
• Understanding of containerization, experienced in Dockers, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with firewall and network security concepts, including best practices for securing APIs and data in a regulated environment.
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
• Writing non‑blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi‑threading, when needed.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Documenting the code inline using JSDoc or other conventions.
• Ability to create automation test scripts is preferred.
• Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript or Type Script).
• Functional Skills Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices.
• Experience in Agile methodology.

Ensure the quality of technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organization.

Experience in Banking, Financial, and Fintech experience in an enterprise environment preferred.

Effectively research and benchmark technology against other best-in-class technologies.
