Bowling Technician

The Bowling Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of bowling lane machinery, scoring systems, lighting, AV systems, and related electrical installations. The role ensures smooth daily bowling operations, proper lane conditioning, and immediate response to technical issues to maintain an excellent guest experience at Tiger Strikes.

• Perform maintenance, cleaning, and repair of Brunswick String Pin systems, including SYNC scoring and SPARK systems, lighting, AV equipment, and electrical installations.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance of all bowling systems and associated equipment.
• Conduct lane conditioning and oiling for up to six lanes using an automated oiling machine in compliance with operational standards.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot bowling machinery during live operations.
• Identify mechanical or system issues and perform corrective action or escalation when required.
• Ensure all bowling equipment is safe, fully functional, and properly maintained at all times.
• Support daily bowling center operations and assist guests when technical issues arise.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Comply with company policies, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Carry out installation works related to equipment, lighting, AV systems, and ancillary equipment when required.
• Perform daily checks on all related equipment, lighting, and AV systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Assist with event and function setup works within Tiger Strikes as directed.
• Coordinate with the Facilities Lead / Assistant Facilities Lead on all equipment and system‑related matters.
• Inspect regularly the safe operation of all equipment under assigned responsibility.
• Participate in the Tiger Strikes emergency response team.
• Monitor heat, lighting, and power equipment according to operational demand and external weather conditions.
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas after task completion.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards, especially in guest‑facing areas.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Facilities Lead or Assistant Facilities Lead.
