An Electrician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings.
The position requires a detailed and comprehensive understanding of electrical concepts, safety protocols, and installation procedures.
They will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, and must adhere to local building codes and industry standards to guarantee the safety and efficiency of electrical systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Install and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and equipment.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Follow blueprints and technical diagrams to install electrical systems accurately.
• Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Provide emergency repairs promptly to minimize downtime of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with contractors and construction workers during installations and renovations.
• Record and report all maintenance and repair work performed on electrical systems.
• Assist in the training and mentorship of junior electricians as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools are properly stored.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to improve skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program is highly preferred.
• Valid electrician license or certification is mandatory for this role.
• Proven experience as an Electrician in residential or commercial settings.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Ability to use electrical tools and equipment with a high degree of safety.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in complex situations.
