We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our truck
Division at FAMCO in the UAE. The Technician will ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired efficiently, accurately, and with minimal repeat issues. This role requires technical expertise in heavy commercial vehicles and the ability to deliver high-quality service both in the workshop and in the field.
- Perform vehicle servicing and troubleshooting to ensure trouble-free operation.
- Conduct repairs and replacements including brake pads, bellows, belts, and pulleys.
- Identify potential problems proactively while attending to jobs.
- Maintain clear communication with Foreman and Service Advisors regarding completed work.
- Follow workshop manuals, service checklists, and best practices to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Support emergency breakdowns and extend 24x7 service support to customers.
- Proven technical expertise in independently servicing, repairing, and overhauling components.
- Good communicator in English;
Arabic is an advantage. - Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
- Ability to follow instructions, read workshop manuals, and apply technical knowledge accurately.
- UAE driving license is advantageous.
You will be part of a professional and proactive workshop team under the supervision of a Foreman. Our team focuses on delivering reliable, high-quality service for heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and uptime.
What equips you for the role :- Technical Education or Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- Trade Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
- At least 4-5 years of experience working with heavy commercial vehicles.
- Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of service manuals, tools, and best practices in vehicle repair and maintenance.
