Role OverviewWe are looking for experienced and motivated Field Service Technicians (FSTs) to join our team in Dubai Airport, U.A.E. In this role, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for Rapiscan X‑ray screening systems across the UAE/MEA region.
In this dynamic, fast‑paced position you will be at the forefront of customer service—installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex X‑ray and trace systems. You will also assist Level 3 Field Service Engineers (FSEs) with daily operational tasks. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to build relationships with end users, and training them on system operation and maintenance.
Responsibilities- Perform Level 1 and Level 2 troubleshooting and repairs on X‑ray and trace systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance and respond to callouts under FSE/TL supervision.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Provide clear written and verbal technical reporting, escalating complex issues (Level
3) to FSEs and site leads. - Assist with system installation, configuration, and initial testing during deployment phases.
- Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety standards while on site.

- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics.
- 4–6 years of experience in a field service environment; X‑ray industry experience is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in airports or security checkpoints is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of electronic and mechanical assemblies, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Ability to work independently in challenging and remote environments, as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Skilled in using power tools and hand tools.
