The Plumber is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting the hotel’s plumbing systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. This role requires the ability to read and understand plumbing blueprints and layouts, and a solid understanding of plumbing system design, including pressure, temperature, pump operation, and fitting specifications. The position involves hands‑on experience with PPR, HDP, PVC, MS, SS piping systems, and sanitary fixture installations and repairs.
The Plumber must demonstrate strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities, work effectively in time‑sensitive situations, and consistently show a sense of urgency while maintaining safety, quality, and service standards.
- Minimum 2 years work experience as a Plumber in a hotel or a similar large building/complex with a central plant.
- Special skills required on pipe fittings, brazing and gas cutting.
- Experience in maintenance of swimming pool plants, spa equipment, and water chemistry.
- Understanding of installation/replacement of piping systems including hot and cold water, drain lines, steam and gas lines.
