The Senior Security Agent is responsible to coordinate, control and support security operations as outlined in the Security Policy and standard operating procedures. He/She is also responsible to provide supervision, including to outsourced personnel and ensure the smooth running of day‑to‑day operations through data collection, logistical support and incident reporting to senior management.
Generic- Monitor and conduct random checks of personnel deployed in all security assignments to ensure that instructions and procedures are carried out.
- Prepare reports on all incidents during the shift, and submit to the relevant supervisor, for escalation to management where required.
- Prepare the work rosters to ensure the most efficient utilisation of manpower and thereby reduce overtime payments.
- Support preliminary investigations by collecting facts (e.g. workplace inspection etc.) in order to determine suitable action.
- Participate in the execution of operations as and when required for example, events (air show etc.), flight delays, staff shortages and other ad hoc services.
- Provide supervision to outsourced security personnel (Transguard Patrol) that are deployed at the Group facilities to ensure conformity to the Group Security Policy and requirements.
- Monitor and control the reception log books. Report any unusual incidents to the line, following up on the results of any incidents to avoid recurrence.
- Inspect security aspects of the accommodation buildings, collate all maintenance requests received from tenants and provide the necessary reports to the appropriate departments. Follow up to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out promptly and with minimum inconvenience.
- Provide and facilitate an operational security service for Emirates and dnata in the safe handling and storage of air cargo products in Dubai airports and any other location as required.
- Support the line in maintaining documentary evidence for all transactions and incidents as part of the risk management and supply chain security regime.
- Conduct and supervise security tasks related to cargo handling and aircraft protection, which include duties such as security search, inspection, escort, catering security and screening.
- Collate information and intelligence on profiled passengers from reports, disseminate the information and support the management in the coordination of necessary action.
- Support the supervisor in the execution of security related advance passenger information related systems, secure flight programs and watch lists as well as any other appropriate regulatory security programs. Examine the reservation systems for profiles of potential inadmissible passengers throughout the network, highlighting where appropriate to flight supervisors.
Security General 3 Years 10 Years schooling or equivalent
ExperienceIn the aviation security field is preferred. Experienced in Microsoft word and Excel.
Fluent in English oral and written Arabic would be advantageous.
