Event & Ice Sales Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic
Event & Ice Sales Specialist
to join our team. In this role, you will drive sales efforts for events at the Emirates Sports Ice Rink and other associated venues within the Emirates Sports Complex. A major part of your responsibility will be to ensure the
maximum occupancy of the ice rink
, through activities such as ice rentals, corporate partnerships, and sports programming.

• Identify and secure bookings for events, corporate activities, private parties, and ice rentals.
• Target schools, sports teams, youth leagues, and corporate clients for ice rink usage and events.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize ice time utilization and event revenue.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all event and ice-related inquiries.

• Work closely with internal teams to coordinate and execute events, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Assist in the planning of ice-related programming, including public skating sessions, ice sports leagues, and private rentals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns to increase awareness of ice rink events and offerings.
• Represent Emirates Sports Group at industry events and exhibitions to generate leads and build networks.

• Track sales activities, prepare performance reports, and provide insights to improve sales strategies.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the sports, events, or hospitality sectors.
• Experience in ice rink operations, sports programming, or ice-related sales is a significant advantage.

• Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
