Job DescriptionBlack & Grey HR is recruiting for an international fresh fruit export company that works directly with growers and operates sourcing stations worldwide and supplying premium-quality fruits to importers, wholesalers, distributors, and retail chains globally, with Dubai serving as the regional commercial hub for expanding sales across the UAE and wider GCC markets. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of fresh fruits sourced from growers worldwide across the UAE and GCC region, leveraging strong commercial acumen, in-depth product knowledge, established market relationships, and hands-on experience in managing the full sales cycle within the fresh produce sector.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage sales of fresh fruits sourced globally.
- Drive revenue growth across the UAE and GCC markets (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, etc.).
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the regional customer base.
- Support the setup and growth of the Dubai branch as the regional sales hub.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of fresh fruit varieties, grades, sizing, quality parameters, and shelf-life expectations across markets.
- Monitor and evaluate GCC market dynamics, including pricing trends, seasonality, competition, and demand‑supply movements.
- Provide regular market intelligence and contribute to long‑term commercial strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with importers, wholesalers, distributors, and retail buyers.
- Handle pricing, negotiations, order confirmations, and end‑to‑end order execution.
- Oversee export/import documentation, including GCC compliance, customs procedures, phytosanitary requirements, and country‑specific regulations. Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and compliant shipments.
- Minimize credit risk exposure through buyer assessment and prudent payment term management.
- Monitor receivables and collections in coordination with the finance team.
- Ensure disciplined commercial practices aligned with company policies.
- 10–15 years of proven experience in fresh fruit trading and sales.
- Strong hands‑on experience selling fruits within the UAE and GCC markets.
- In‑depth knowledge of fruit quality standards and regional market dynamics.
- Demonstrated capability in credit control and risk mitigation.
- Established buyer network within the GCC will be a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English and at least one regional language is mandatory; knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.
- Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
