Business Development Executive - Crypto Expo

You will own the full business development cycle for Crypto Expo — from identifying potential sponsors and partners, to pitching, closing deals, and maintaining key accounts across the global crypto and fintech ecosystem. This is a commercial role with clear revenue targets and strong exposure to C-level decision makers at exchanges, brokers, and Web3 companies.

Key Responsibilities

New Business & Sponsorship Sales
:

  • Identify, research, and build a strong pipeline of potential sponsors, exhibitors, and partners (crypto exchanges, Venture Capital, Layer1/Layer2 chain, Web3 projects, liquidity providers, payment companies, tech vendors, etc.).
  • Conduct outbound outreach (email, Linked In, calls, video meetings, in-person meeting) to decision makers globally.
  • Present and pitch sponsorship packages, exhibition booths, speaking slots, side events, and other commercial opportunities.

Account Management & Upsell:

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients across multiple event editions.
  • Understand clients’ marketing and business objectives and propose tailored packages / add-ons (bigger booths, branding upgrades, speaking, side events, VIP programs, etc.).
  • Ensure sponsors are well-prepared pre-event (branding, booth, speaking schedule) and supported on-site.
  • Track trends in crypto, Web3, blockchain, Bitcoin, Mining and fintech to identify new segments and sponsor categories.
  • Monitor competitor events and campaigns to refine our value proposition and pricing.
  • Maintain accurate contact, pipeline, and deal data in the CRM (ideally Hub Spot).
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts in coordination with the operations and finance teams.
  • Report weekly on pipeline, forecast, achieved revenue, and key activities.
  • Attend our events and selected industry conferences to meet clients, generate leads, and strengthen relationships.
  • Support on-site client servicing, introductions, VIP meetings, and networking sessions.
Requirements
  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales / business development, preferably in: events & exhibitions media & advertising fintech / crypto / SaaS
  • Strong hunter mentality with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Comfortable selling to C-level / senior decision makers across different regions and cultures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to manage multiple deals and follow-ups in parallel, with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident using CRM tools and sales productivity tools (e.g., Hub Spot, Linked In Sales Navigator, Telegram, Discord).
  • Genuine interest in crypto, Web3, or financial markets and willingness to keep learning.
Preferred
  • Experience selling sponsor ships, exhibition space, or digital media.
  • Existing network among crypto exchanges, Web3 projects, brokers, liquidity providers, or payment companies.
  • Additional languages (e.g. Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish) are a strong advantage. Previous experience in the MENA or emerging markets (Asia, LATAM, Africa).
