About

The Role

The Sales Manager – Leisure is responsible for managing and growing the leisure segment for One&Only One Za’abeel, with a primary focus on luxury consortia partnerships while also supporting wholesale and B2B leisure business as required. Reporting to the Account Director – Leisure, this role drives room night production, protects rate integrity, strengthens brand positioning across key source markets, and builds long-term strategic relationships within the global luxury travel trade.

This position requires a commercially astute, relationship-driven professional with strong understanding of luxury distribution and international sales representation. The role involves international travel, including to the United States.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the leisure sales strategy in alignment with the hotel’s overall commercial objectives.
  • Manage and grow key luxury consortia partnerships.
  • Support wholesale and B2B leisure accounts where required, ensuring rate integrity and distribution compliance.
  • Achieve assigned room night, revenue, and market share targets through proactive account management and business development.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and production analysis, identifying growth opportunities and corrective actions.
  • Ensure rate parity and compliance across static and dynamic contracts in coordination with Revenue and Distribution.
  • Represent the hotel at international trade fairs, roadshows, client events, and consortia conferences, particularly in the US and other key leisure markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel advisors and agency decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with Revenue and Marketing to implement tactical offers, joint campaigns, and partner activations.

    Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce and ensure pipeline visibility.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and business trend analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Uphold One&Only brand standards in all commercial activities and client interactions.
About You
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in luxury hotel leisure sales, consortia, or wholesale distribution.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of consortia contracting, static/dynamic rate management, and distribution best practices.
  • Existing relationships within luxury travel advisor networks highly preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and commercial reporting systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Must hold a visa that allows travel to the United States due to business needs.
