Business Development Manager | Tech & Telecoms

Dubai. Salary up to AED 23,000 + commission and great career progression!

I’m partnering with a global events organisation behind one of the region’s leading technology conferences, they’re looking to hire a Business Development Manager based in Dubai.

This is not an events-only sales role. In fact, candidates from the tech, telecoms, SaaS, cloud, or digital solutions world are strongly encouraged to apply.

You’ll be responsible for driving revenue by selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages to technology vendors, service providers, and solution partners targeting the Saudi market. The audience is already there — your role is to engage the right companies, articulate commercial value, and convert conversations into long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identifying and engaging tech, telecoms, and digital businesses
  • Owning the full sales cycle — outbound prospecting, discovery, pitching, negotiation, and close
  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline against clear revenue targets
  • Selling exhibition space, sponsor ships, and partnerships to senior decision-makers
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients who return year after year
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams to maximise account growth and retention
Requirements
  • Proven B2B sales experience — tech, telecoms, SaaS, cloud, or digital solutions background preferred
  • Strong outbound business development and consultative selling skills
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Commercially driven, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced, target-led environment
  • Interest in the Saudi / GCC tech ecosystem
  • Events experience not required — strong sales fundamentals are key
