Job Summary

The Account Director handles accounts for all Kerzner hotels across One&Only, Atlantis, Rare Finds, and SIRO brands within the Regional Sales Office. This position reports to the Regional Director, Sales and Marketing and drives full account management responsibility for assigned key accounts with core focus on the luxury segment, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, deeper market penetration, and strong long‑term partnerships while developing new key accounts, building existing accounts, and achieving sales goals.

The role requires disciplined pipeline management, proactive performance monitoring, and focused account prioritization to consistently achieve and exceed revenue and market share targets. The position manages corporate RFP cycles end‑to‑end, develops comprehensive Account Development Plans, and represents Kerzner brands with authority and leadership at key international trade shows and industry events reinforcing brand dominance across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full account management responsibility for assigned key accounts, with a core focus on the luxury segment, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, deeper market penetration, and strong long‑term partnerships.
  • Effectively manage all accounts including negotiating contracts, brochure contribution, space, layout, and copy approval.
  • Drive revenue performance and ADR uplift, with targeted strategies to maximize premium inventory sales, particularly suites and villas, while delivering strong yield optimization.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and market share targets through disciplined pipeline management, proactive performance monitoring, and focused account prioritization.
  • Identify, secure, and develop new business opportunities across corporate, government, consortia, and trade partners, creating impactful trade activations that deliver measurable results.
  • Manage a joint marketing fund and agree on joint promotions and advertising ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deliver required ROI aligned with brand positioning.
  • Lead and manage corporate RFP cycles end‑to‑end, including sourcing opportunities, commercial structuring, negotiation, submission, and successful contract closure with key multinational and regional organizations.
  • Develop, execute, and continuously enhance comprehensive Account Development Plans (ADPs) for all managed accounts, fully aligned with regional commercial strategies and evolving client needs.
  • Work with the Regional Director to plan, organize and host client events, familiarization trips, trade and consumer shows, and internal client/hotel sales calls.
  • Represent Kerzner brands with authority and leadership at key international trade shows, high‑level business forums, and industry events to reinforce brand dominance.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with key external stakeholders including government entities, tourist boards, airlines, DMCs, corporate procurement teams, and strategic partners.
  • Maintain a high level of market intelligence, looking at COMP‑SET strategies and pricing to make recommendations for strategic or tactical amendments to help dominate and shift market share.
  • Design and deliver high‑impact partner training to elevate product expertise, improve selling capability, and drive measurable revenue conversion.
  • Protect Kerzner’s brand positioning, ensuring all communications, presentations, and activations consistently reflect luxury standards and commercial priorities.
  • Lead continuous performance enhancement, identifying gaps, implementing improvements, and proactively resolving challenges to protect and grow market share.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
  • 5 years sales experience in the travel industry with luxury account management knowledge.
  • Hotel experience preferably working for or representing a luxury brand.
  • University degree advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven experience managing and developing key corporate and government accounts within the assigned region.
  • Experience leading and executing corporate RFP processes including negotiation and contracting.
  • Track record with key global and regional organizations.
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and formal presentation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic; additional languages advantageous.
  • Understanding of luxury hospitality sales and ultra‑luxury market positioning.
  • Strategic thinking with commercial acumen and revenue management understanding.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Results‑oriented with proven track record achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region to support accounts and attend events.
