Source Enterprise Sales​/Alliances

We are hiring for Enterprise Sales Specialists and Alliances Sales Directors across all levels of seniority in our Sales and Alliances teams. The role focuses on revenue generation in the technology industry, leveraging our open‑source platform, Ubuntu, to drive customer engagements and partner relationships.

• Advance a deep understanding of Linux, cloud software ecosystem, and open‑source selling models.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms.
• Build and expand strategic relationships with hardware vendors, software vendors, solutions integrators, and distributors.
• Own the strategy and development of sales engagements.
• Grow customers' awareness of Ubuntu open‑source capabilities.
• Deliver on targets, objectives, and provide a voice of the partner and/or customer.
• Travel domestically and internationally to drive partnerships in person.
• Align and support internal Field teams to identify, support, grow, and transact.
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Product Management to meet targets and objectives.
• Lead executive interlocks between partners/customers and our own leadership team.

• Track record of exceeding revenue expectations in the technology field.
• Experience with Linux and open‑source environments.
• Strong academic background from high school and university.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling alternative narrative.
• Confidence to speak up, share ideas, and exchange feedback.
• Leadership and commitment to skills development and mentorship.
• Passion for technology demonstrated through personal projects.
• Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
• Appreciative of diversity, polite, and effective in a multicultural, multinational environment.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented mindset, and high personal drive.
• Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks) and more frequently to meet clients and partners.
