ROLE SUMMARY
The Allocator is the main point of contact for suppliers to ensure all goods arrive on time and maintain stock accuracy across stores.
The Role will be responsible for allocating new stock to the stores and ensure timely launch for each new season and replenishment.
ROLE PROFILE
- Support the Merchandising team in the successful management of stock availability, transfer and allocation as advised by the Senior Planner.
- Responsible for timely allocation of products to stores to minimize loss of sale.
- Establish strong relationships across the Planning & Merchandising team and stores in order to better understand merchandising strategies and needs of the business.
- Manage the product life cycle from initial allocation, including replenishment and consolidation of goods to other stores or channels.
- Ensure high standards of all reporting and accuracy of data.
- Conduct regular store visits with the team.
- Liaising closely with warehouses, stores and other Head Office departments.
- Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Certificate
- Graduate in any related subject would be an advantage
- 1-year experience in the Retail industry
