• Greet customers promptly as they enter the store and offer assistance.
• Process sales transactions efficiently using the cash register system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provide customers with accurate information regarding products and services.
• Resolve customer complaints and answer questions when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Replenish merchandise and stock shelves when necessary during downtime.
• Comply with all company and store policies regarding transactions and returns.
• Assist customers with the bagging of purchased products when required.
• Coordinate with store management for any issues or customer service concerns.
• Promote special sales and loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
• Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred.
• Basic PC and math skills for operating the cash register system.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a friendly and engaging personality.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
