Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store medical consumables and equipment in accordance with hospital standards.
- Ensure accurate stock levels through regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain proper storage conditions and enforce FEFO/FIFO principles.
- Issue supplies to clinical departments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor stock expiry dates and report shortfalls or excesses proactively.
- Ensure proper documentation and updating of inventory through ERP or stock management systems.
- Support procurement and supply chain teams with stock‑related queries and replenishment needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage environment.
- Previous experience as a Storekeeper or in inventory/warehouse operations.
- Experience in clinical or medical stores (preferred).
- Familiarity with medical consumables and equipment handling.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles (e.g.,
FEFO/FIFO
). - Experience using inventory management systems or ERPs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and stock movement.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- UAE experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
