As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in customer service operations, handling all customer transactions efficiently and accurately. You will be the face of our store, ensuring that each customer receives a warm welcome and leaves with a positive impression. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and be able to handle transactions with accuracy and integrity.

In addition to processing purchases, you will assist with customer inquiries, maintain a clean and organized checkout area, and support team initiatives to exceed our sales goals. • Process customer purchases accurately using a point-of-sale system.
• Efficiently manage cash, credit, and debit card transactions securely.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide knowledgeable product information.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the checkout area consistently.
• Handle customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate manager.
• Balance the cash register drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change as needed in a timely manner.
• Engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience positively.
• Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed store sales targets.
• Monitor checkout lines to ensure a smooth flow of customer service.
• Adhere to all store policies, procedures, and safety regulations consistently.
• Assist with restocking shelves and organizing product displays effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar retail role preferred.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash registers and scanners.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
