In a demanding and constantly evolving context, the Sales Manager manages a team of versatile Fashion advisers with a strong stylistic sensitivity. Highly present on the floor, he/she follows his team in the different universes of the boutique to support them on a daily basis in their role as a true ambassador of Style and Brand Image and thus contributes to making CHANEL the ultimate reference in luxury.
Combining strong leadership, a strong team spirit, a passion for Fashion and a strong results orientation and business acumen, the Sales Manager develops the individuals potential, excellence of the customer experience of his/her team and paves the way for success of his/her business activity. Enthusiastic, pro-active and attentive, he/she works closely with the Client Experience Manager team and the Boutique management and thus promotes collaboration and the successful achievement of results.
Reporting to the Deputy Boutique Manager, you will contribute to the success of the boutique through ensuring excellent client experience, demonstrating proper planning, follow up and efficient leadership. The Sales Manager develops the potential of each individual team member and paves the way for success of his/her business activity. As a true ambassador of Style and Brand Image, the Sales Manager contributes to making CHANEL the ultimate reference in luxury.
- Managing a team of Fashion Advisors — Ensure the teams proper understanding and deployment of the House's strategy.
- Coaching the team to reach a high level of style expertise and client experience.
- Federating and motivating the team towards the achievement of commercial objectives via regular one-to-one follow-up meetings.
- Maximizing the potential of the individual, defining priority actions for skills development, and monitoring them with regular communication to the Deputy Manager.
- Driving the business and managing activity — In collaboration with the Deputy Manager contribute to the development and implementation of the boutique overall business strategy.
- Overseeing compliance with Boutique procedures and the Boutique Charter.
- Proactively proposing suggestions for a better client experience and boutique operational efficiency.
- Managing and monitoring sales of an activity to ensure strong progress towards the goal.
- Assisting in buying of the collections for the boutique while respecting the budget, guidelines and the one boutique one story.
- Performing quantitative analyses to make recommendations related to business and product strategy.
- Setting up action plans aimed at developing business and performance of the activity.
- Making regular reports to the Boutique Management.
- Ensuring the visibility of the product line in collaboration with Visual Merchandising.
- Optimizing inventory management and following sell-through and inventory objectives for the category.
- Being an ambassador of the brand — With clients ensure consistent delivery of client experience in line with brand guidelines and participation in client events.
- Always embody the environmental and societal values of the House and act as an ambassador of the house.
- Use Chanel Brand Image as a filter in decision making.
