The RoleAs a Junior Merchandiser at SUMWON STUDIOS
, you will support the end-to-end merchandising and planning process across multiple brands. You will play a hands-on role in product launch execution, critical path tracking, performance analysis and merchandising curation, ensuring products go live on time, meet quality standards and perform commercially.
This role sits between operations, data analysis and creative merchandising, making it ideal for someone at an early stage of their merchandising career who is highly organised, commercially curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced fashion environment.
Key Responsibilities Product Launch Management & Quality Control- Support daily product launch scheduling for assigned brands
- Conduct pre-launch quality control checks to ensure imagery, content and pricing accuracy
- Liaise with design, buying and content teams to resolve pre-launch issues
- Maintain launch calendars and share regular status updates
- Track critical paths for products in development and follow up on progress with internal teams and suppliers
- Support sample reorders and track delivery status
- Collate and distribute AWB lists for re-sampled products
- Assist in maintaining compliance with agreed timelines
- Support the creation of weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Analyse product-level data to identify trends in sales, sell-through and customer demand
- Assist in translating data insights into recommendations for buying and merchandising teams
- Identify issues with product imagery, retouching or recolours
- Coordinate with internal teams to request and follow through on content improvements
- Help maintain consistent quality standards across all product listings
- Build and maintain line lists for onsite landing pages, including seasonal drops, trend edits and bestsellers
- Support ad hoc line lists to inform assortment and buying decisions
- 4 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, e-commerce or product operations, or a relevant fashion or retail graduate with internship experience
- Experience with in fashion retail, e-commerce or marketplace environments is highly desirable
- Understanding of the fashion product lifecycle from design to customer
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Confidence working with numbers and analysing performance data
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and quality
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Commercial awareness and curiosity around what drives product performance
- Strong interest in fashion, trends and consumer behaviour
- Understanding of how product attributes such as silhouette, colour, print and fit influence sales
