Overview OfThe Role
The Retail Sales Representative is integral to driving sales and ensuring a high‑quality customer experience within the Al Futtaim Watches & Jewellery stores in the UAE. This role involves direct customer interaction, adherence to store operational standards, and support of the store management in routine and critical daily operations. A successful representative will maintain the store’s visual standards and cleanliness, engage warmly with customers to foster loyalty, and act as a proactive agent in sales strategy execution, including running the store independently when required.
WhatYou Will Do Customer Experience
- Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to the dress code.
- Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non‑business like greeting.
- Provide customers with current relevant information about the product.
- Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invite them back.
- Assist the Store Manager with day‑to‑day store operations, including opening and closing, store management cover, and other security aspects.
- Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager, if required.
- Train new staff on the Point of Sale (POS) operation and be responsible for corrective action at the POS.
- Ensure compliance with in‑store procedures regarding pricing and ticketing to protect the company against any loss related to incorrect pricing.
- Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions.
- Meet or exceed weekly sales goals.
- Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
- Perform housekeeping duties as required.
- Maintain cash wrap cleanliness and attempt to add on to the sale.
- Provide quality service in the fitting rooms and follow up with customers in a timely manner.
- Offer gift cards and capture customer information in the database.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to effectively manage time and priority in a busy retail environment.
- Capability to learn and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cover various operational duties as needed.
The Role
- High School Degree.
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and perform some heavy lifting.
- An eye for fashion trends and a friendly demeanor.
