Role Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for leading overall store performance with a strong focus on sales growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This role oversees day-to-day store operations while inspiring, training, and developing a high-performing team to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve business objectives.

• Drive and exceed store sales, conversion, and profitability targets

• Manage payroll, shrinkage, and operating costs to maximise margins

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to boost revenue and control expenses

• Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards

• Safeguard company assets through accurate inventory control, stock movement, returns, and exchanges

• Maintain high standards of store upkeep, safety, and organisation

• Recruit, train, motivate, and retain high-quality store associates

• Build a strong talent pipeline and support succession planning

• Lead by example through coaching on product knowledge, selling techniques, and visual standards

• Conduct regular team meetings, daily briefings, and performance feedback sessions

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience by actively engaging on the sales floor

• Ensure consistent execution of customer service standards through coaching and performance reviews

• Implement visual merchandising guidelines, promotions, and seasonal directives

• Maintain a clean, organisedized, and visually appealing store and stockroom

• Strong command of business English (written and verbal)

• Proficient in computer applications including Outlook, Excel, and SAP

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in reporting

• High level of numeracy and literacy

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• 1–2 years of experience as a Store Manager or in a similar leadership role

• Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, profitability, and team development
